Eucharistic Adoration

"Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is ... an important daily practice and becomes an inexhaustible source of holiness.... It is pleasant to spend time with (Christ), to be close to His breast like the Beloved Disciple and to feel the infinite love present in his heart."  John Paul II in The Church and the Eucharist

Eucharistic Adoration is the adoring of Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist.  We are called to be in the presence of the Lord to praise, worship, give thanks, seek forgiveness, or "trusting intercession."  All are welcome come to pray and worship Jesus through the day.

"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD"  Psalm 46:10

The Love of Jesus for us is limitless and never ending.  Jesus gave himself to us in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.  What can we give back to Jesus?  Can we give a few minutes of quiet love, prayer and adoration?  Our prayer is that your answer will be YES!

All are welcome to spend time before the Lord.  Adoration is scheduled every Friday from 9:00am till 5:00pm.  You may sign up to be an "adorer" which means you can schedule yourself for a specific hour or simply stop when you have the time.  The sign up sheet is located at the side entrance of the Church.  Commitment to that hour is the responsibility of the "adorer".  If you cannot make your hour PLEASE call the contact person in advance so the hour can be covered. Visitors are always welcome, the amount of time spent is up to the individual.

There is a petition basket available to write a prayer request.  These requests are placed before the altar and are lifted up at the closing services.
