All members of our parish family strengthen the bonds of faith which bind us while strengthening our personal faith through various faith formation activities, opportunities, and events.  While the Sunday liturgy is central and essential to our Catholic faith, our faith formation programs seek to build on these liturgical experiences.

Youth Faith Formation

Welcome to our Youth Faith Formation program for the 2017-2018 catechetical year!  Whether new to the program or returning, we are blessed to welcome all of our students and families.  We have made some exciting changes to our middle school program which will better meet the needs and schedules of our 6th – 8th graders; revised our scheduling for grades 1-5; and eliminated our home taught program.  These changes will allow us to better support our parents and families as they nurture our youngest Catholics.

As parents we bring our children into the family of God and the Church through the sacrament of Baptism.  It is this baptismal commitment that requires parents to be the primary catechists of their children and as such it is their responsibility to educate their children in the Catholic faith.  The objective of our Faith Formation program is to supplement this task by imparting knowledge of the catechism and supporting the formation of Catholic attitudes so that all of the children may participate more fully in the worship of the Church.  The Sunday Mass is central to our faith and reminds us that we are all part of the mystical body of Christ and share in his life and mission.  Worshiping as a community allows us to nurture and develop our Catholic identity and sustain us as Catholic citizens.  As such it is expected that all of our families will participate in the Mass weekly.

As a parish we will celebrate the beginning of our year and Catechetical Sunday at all Masses the weekend of September 16 & 17.    Look for details in the coming weeks. We strongly encourage all of our families to participate in this important event!

All Faith Formation classes will begin the week of September 17th.

Be sure to join us for Mass each Sunday.

Adult Faith Formation

As adults our faith grows, evolves and is challenged based upon our life experiences. Education in our Catholic faith should not end with Confirmation. Rather, as a sacrament of initiation it is the beginning of our lives as fully initiated Catholics. As such, we must nurture our faith and live out our Baptismal call to holiness. This can be accomplished in many ways including structured programs, prayer groups and faith based events.

St. Patrick Book Club -  We are currently reading Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty.  The discussion will take place in the St. Patrick Library, July 5 at 7pm.  All are welcome to attend!

Catholicism - The Pivotal Players  - This program has concluded for this year.  Check back in August for our Fall program.
